I have friends and family with children that have special needs. I cannot speak for Wellington specifically - but the people that I know in Wellington, Boynton Beach, West Palm Beach and Lake Worth (just Eastand just South of Wellington) drive to Boca Raton or Miami for the pediatric specialists there. They have more medical resources at the University of Miami and at Boca Raton Community Hospital for children with special needs... plus there are other resources including support groups, play groups, therapists etc... I would personally consider investigating further South to the resources in Boca Raton. If you have any questions, I can refer you to parents, world-class child psychologists, doctors and community resources in the South part of Palm Beach County. Wellington will be a 30-40min drive to Boca Raton - Boynton Beach will be 15-20min. Plus - if you have to choose private schools, the options are more plentiful and are stronger in the South part of the county. Boca Raton's public schools are all A rated...as are West Boynton Beach David Podgursky Broker Associate Boca Executive Realty 561-504-6949 cell 561-327-7838 fax davidp@bocaexecutive.com
